CREATIVE CHALLENGE – DAY NINE
Painting the inside of a jar is a really neat way to add colour to your decor, and the best part is, you won’t see any brush strokes at all, the outside of the glass jar stays nice and glossy. I made two jars and used contact paper to make stencils, so I can see inside the jar.
You will need
✚ Contact paper
✚ Scissors / paper punches (optional)
✚ Acrylic Paint
What to do
Step one ⋙ Measure (so it fits) and cut out a shape for your stencil, and stick to the inside of the glass
Step two ⋙ Pour paint into the jar and roll all around so it coats the inside of the jar
Step three ⋙ Leave to dry (this part could take ages depending on how much paint you used, and will probably go over your 30 minutes)
Step four ⋙ Carefully peal away the contact to reveal the little window
