My 30 Day Creative Challenge is designed to boost your creativity, get your hands moving and make your brain happy! I challenge you to set aside just 30 minutes (or less!) per day, every day in November to make something, to form creativity as one of your daily habits.

For more info about the Challenge, why you should join in and how to do it, check out the main 30 Day Creative Challenge post.

Remember, you can join in with todays prompt, or work on your own project, it can be whatever you like! Just remember to post a photo and tag it with #makers30days on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook! Have a look at what everyone else has going on, like and comment on pics to encourage the community =)

CREATIVE CHALLENGE – DAY SEVENTEEN

This is a fantastic and fun way to customise gifts for new babies, or anyone at all! You can layer up the shapes to create scenes or cute animal pictures, or anything you like!

You will need

✚ Fusible Web

✚ t-shirt / onesie / tote bag to appliqué onto

✚ pencil, scissors

✚ Iron

What to do

Step one ⋙ Cut a square of fusible web smaller than your fabric

Step two ⋙ Place the shiny side down onto the back of your fabric

Step three ⋙ Iron for a minute or so to stick the fusible web to the fabric

Step four ⋙ Draw a design onto the papery, flat side of the fusible web and cut out

Step five ⋙ Peel off the paper, making sure the “web” stuff is stuck to your fabric

Step six ⋙ Place your shape shiny side down onto the front of your t-shirt / onesie / tote etc

Step seven ⋙ Iron for a few minutes to stick the appliqué to your item

Optional ⋙ Sew around the edge of your appliqué, if you want to
