Want to make Mum’s day extra special? A homemade gift takes time, effort and a little love – everything Mother’s Day is all about. Here are ten DIY ideas that would be perfect to show your appreciation.
These sweet little bulbs in a cup are perfect for Mum’s that love gardening or nature (or both). Craft and Creativity suggests you use some bulbs that have already bloomed from the garden. Simply dig them up and pop them in a little soil and cover with moss. Too cute.
This next little vintage DIY idea is from Better Homes and Gardens. Create a gorgeous keepsake box using an old fashioned doily. You should be able to pick one up from an Op shop for next to nothing. This would be great for a first time Mum to collect treasured pieces as her children grow.
