Here’s another quick, simple and delicious DIY dip recipe for you. If you serve it with the homemade hummus then I guarantee that you will have some very happy guests. They’re definitely a crowd pleaser!
- 1 450g can baby beetroot, drained, coarsely chopped
- 250g (1 cup) Greek-style yoghurt
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- Salt & freshly ground black pepper
Combine ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Serve in bowl with Lavosh crisps.
Note: I used sliced beetroot and that was fine. Just pulse the mix if you want it a little chunky. Add more cumin and coriander if you like.
Mix it up: I added some Danish feta to my dip because I love the creamy texture and salty flavor. You could also use cream cheese or sour cream if you prefer.
Keep your eye out next week next for the final dip recipe so you can serve the trio of dips at your next gathering.
Have you tried making the dips? Do you add different ingredients? I’d love to know what you think and how you mix things up. Have fun getting creative in the kitchen!
Until next week, A xx
