I visited the Handmade Canberra Markets late last year and interviewed a bunch of my friends to find out how they got started and what advice they might have for YOU to take the plunge and apply to sell your thing at a local market.

Scott and Emily of BassCase are faux-family. It’s complicated but our kids are basically cousins. BassCase is an awesome example of making a product that fits in a narrow niche and having really good success with it, I’m so pumped to see them grow!

If you want to have your own business like Scott and Emily, you could consider joining the Maker’s Academy which is a membership for makers and creatives such as yourself wanting to learn how to sell your stuff so you can replace your 9-5 income with something you are more excited about. My purpose is to help you achieve that.
