Today on #MakersTV I’m talking taking the time to learn something new every day, and how I’m doing that right now – by applying to be a research student (doing my PhD!).

I just want to put it out there that I’m applying to take up my PhD as a way for me to learn something new everyday. I hope to get accepted at the University of Canberra, where I also work, to do my PhD. I will let you know how that goes!

This is my way of bringing together everything what I want to do for you guys. Especially finding the answer as to why it does not usually work for women in business and start ups and what we can do to educate around branding to make it work. If you have an action step to move you forward to learn something new to improve your technical skill or a philosophical aspect, do that. I believe it helps our brain and personal development to do so. Even 10-15 minutes of watching a video that teaches you something you know nothing is better than watching Netflix for 2 hours.

So what are you waiting for? Go learn something new today!

CAN YOU CONFIDENTLY SAY YOU ARE WORKING ON THE RIGHT THING, RIGHT NOW IN YOUR BUSINESS?

Sometimes, even when we are doing all the right things, it can feel like we’re spinning our wheels and not moving forward at all. This could be because you’re focusing on the wrong area of your business – or doing all the right things, but at the wrong time.
