I’m talking one easy thing you can do when you’re unmotivated, to get your head back in the game and get your business mojo on in order to be more productive and get stuff done in the short time you have to do it.

We aren’t robots and there are days when we really feel unmotivated. It can stop us from being productive on days when there is just so much to do. So how do we get our head back in the game?

I have something that I do when I feel sleepy or unmotivated especially when I know I have loads to do. We don’t have to be working all the time and pressure ourselves but we all do want to feel accomplished at the end of the day.

How do you overcome the feeling of unmotivated? How do you move forward from just wanting to sit on the couch and watch TV? You can start with a warm-up. Yes, a warm-up! It’s not only good for our bodies but it also does wonders for our minds. If I plan to do a certain kind of task, I do a warm-up beforehand. When I do these videos, I do a warm-up like looking at other people’s YouTube videos but making sure not to get sucked in and spend hours just doing that.

Similar to playing sports, warm-ups only entail a short amount of time and it doesn’t have to take you hours to do. When it comes to business, it can be enrolling in courses like the Makers Academy, doing a lesson, watching videos of people who inspire you, reading about the topic you are working on, visualizing future income you want to bring in, among others.

You can do all sorts of things to warm-up your brain before doing the work you set out yourself to do for the day. It may not even be related to what you plan to do but it’s really about getting inspired and excited. By taking information in from somewhere else instead of starting from a blank slate, we draw inspiration from ourselves when we’re all out of it. We need to fill ourselves with inspiring stuff first because we also drain out of creative juices, inspiration, and motivation.

If you feel that my videos and blogs have helped you, please share these with someone you know who also needs to be motivated. Let’s help each other succeed in our individual businesses! Become part of the Makers Co community on Facebook, Facebook group, Instagram, and Pinterest.
