Well, it’s finally time to spill the beans on the secret project I’ve been working on with Jess from Create & Thrive and Deb from Tizzit Co over the past couple of months…

We’ve launched a BRAND NEW PODCAST! 

The Business of Making is a new, no-holds-barred, no fluff, no bull, conversational podcast where we chat about what it REALLY takes to make it as a maker. It’s been so fun recording with these two brilliant women over the last couple of months and we can’t wait to get more out to you, but for now, we’ve got the first 3 episodes up and from now on future episodes will be coming out weekly on a Wednesday morning (Aussie time).

Yes, we are direct competitors. But instead of focusing on that, we decided to come together to create something much bigger than the 3 of us – for all makers.

We created The Business of Making to encourage honest, real conversations around what it really means to be a maker in business. Together we have 20 years of experience in the handmade industry, and while we agree on a lot of things, the conversation still gets a little lively at times 😅

And here’s the cool part – this is only the beginning. We have big plans for The Business of Making and the creative industry as a whole in Australia, and there’s definitely more coming… but you’ll have to wait until 2019 to hear more about that.
