In this episode of MakersTV I talk about MAKERS BIZ, an online summit for makers and creatives to help sell your products online. You can find out more about Makers Biz here.

Makers Biz was held back in March 12-18, 2018.  There were over 30+ people who talked during the summit and did their individual workshops. These 30+ experts and successful handmade entrepreneurs shared proven systems and strategies to help sell handmade products online. These speakers are world-class experts and successful handmade entrepreneurs who shared tips and strategies they’ve learnt from experience.

I was one of those 30 and I did a free workshop on how you can improve your graphics to be able to sell your products with one simple trick. What trick, you say?!

The secret trick is… typography! Most people new to business and graphic design get this wrong. Even if you get your images and your colors right but you choose the wrong font, then you will be sending out the wrong message to your audience and they won’t listen because they won’t think it’s for them. Aside from that, if your images look amateur then people won’t think you are a professional.

Canva is the free imaging software I use to demonstrate great tips on how you can learn the different personalities and getting it right no matter what your business is.

If you think you still need help in strengthening your brand, you could consider joining the Maker’s Academy which is a membership for makers and creatives such as yourself wanting to learn how to sell your stuff so you can replace your 9-5 income with something you are more excited about. My purpose is to help you achieve that.

CAN YOU CONFIDENTLY SAY YOU ARE WORKING ON THE RIGHT THING, RIGHT NOW IN YOUR BUSINESS?

Sometimes, even when we are doing all the right things, it can feel like we’re spinning our wheels and not moving forward at all. This could be because you’re focusing on the wrong area of your business – or doing all the right things, but at the wrong time.
